Tamarind Juice

  • 1 jug of water
  • 4 sticks of tamarind
  • ½ cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pink salt
  • 1 cup of ice cubes


  1. In a pan, cut tamarind into small pieces and take out its pulp. Soak this tamarind for 1 hour in 1 cup of water.
  2. After an hour, cook the tamarind for 10 minutes with water in it and sugar. Let this mixture cool.
  3. In a grinder, grind this cooled mixture, pink salt, 1 jug of water, and ice cubes.
  4. Tasty and healthy juice is ready to serve!

Notes: Try to pulse the pulp in the grinder on a low speed. This will help in separating the seeds from the pulp easily.
