- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup (90g) chocolate chips
- Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Method:
- Preheat and Prepare:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch square baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Melt Butter and Mix Dry Ingredients:
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Beat in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder. Spread batter into the prepared pan.
- Add Extras and Bake:
- Sprinkle chocolate chips and optional nuts over the top of the batter.
